Underwear and swimwear
Anekdot is a lingerie brand based between Berlin and Sweden. They source vintage trimmings, production left overs and deadstock to hand craft their beautiful underwear.
Berlin > Sweden
“We take a thoughtful approach to design and construction: production is sustainable and each piece is made to be worn season after season. We’re inspired by simplicity, creative thinking and an aesthetic that responds to the way we live.
Our Black/Elegance color is made with ECONYL® – 100% regenerated nylon and polyester fiber from post-consumer materials. The innovative Regenerated System is based on sustainable chemistry. With this process, nylon and polyester contained in waste, such as carpets, clothing and fishing nets, is transformed back into virgin raw material without any loss of quality.”

A forerunner in sustainably produced nylon stockings, Swedish Stockings produce beautiful pantyhose from recycled yarn. Our factories engage in sustainable practises including the use of environmentally friendly dyes, post-dyeing water treatment and the use of solar power for much of the energy needed in the manufacturing process.”
“Undone began with the idea that simple, high quality underwear and basics should be available all in one place. We love soft fabrics, perfect cuts, and the kind of clothes you wear every day and can’t live without. The labels we work with take a thoughtful and progressive approach to design and construction: production is smaller-scale and sustainable, and each piece is made to be worn season after season. We’re inspired by independent thinking and an aesthetic that responds to the way we live.”
“Clean and with style both in look and in our conscience is what we strive for. We’ve heard the sentence ‘Less is More’ said a thousand times, but it really is true.
Every underwear garment is sewn in a small family-owned factory in Europe from sustainably sourced fabric called Lenzing Modal, which is a fine, smooth fiber made from beech wood. The Lenzing fiber is also produced in Europe, so we keep each step as close to ‘home’ as possible.”
